Lawyers - Comparing Apples to Oranges

When shopping for a lawyer to close a real estate transaction the fees can range from several hundred dollars to 2.0 % of the transaction.

When comparing the fees charged ask what services are provided and how they are broken out. Additional charges apply for mortgages, discharge fees, searches, Title insurance, couriers and Law Society Fees. Purchase of Title Insurance.
